What a nice person he is to work with and to hang out with. In August 2010, I had the opportunity to shoot the publicity stills for a movie called "Dorfman." Elliott played Burt Dorfman, the father of the main character (although any changes his daughter, Sara Rue, go through are no less dramatic than those of Mr. Dorfman. The film screened at Cinequest 2012, a major film festival in San Jose, CA. On the night of Dorfman's first screening, Elliott received the Cinequest Maverick Award.
