Having over 17,000 images of the motion of light, I will be adding to this gallery on a regular basis. As everything is made up of light, and light creates colors, the beauty contained within these images is not of my creation, but that of the energy of light, otherwise known as LOVE.

Serendipity is defined as a happy circumstance of chance. The photographs in this gallery are flukes. Most are straight out of the camera. The few photographs that have been "photoshopped" are indicated as such. Fun stuff!!!

It was a nice night for a ride, so we headed out through Old Topanga Canyon, then west, over the mountain to Malibu., and then south to Santa Monica, CA. Just off the pier, I spotted a small tapas bar that had some unusual but nicely colored lights. Voila! These photos were all taken within a few minute time period. I was invited to the CSI-NY cast and crew party on the CBS lot. The star of the show, Gary Sinise, has a great rock & roll band and these are pictures of the lights used on stage while his band performed. All the same colors, all different patterns. Only music could create the images of light that you see before you. As much as light is what the human body is made of, music is its soul. Originally called "Roy on Drums," these images are of me playing drums in a pitch black room with sticks that light up when struck on the drum head. I configured the camera's set up and had a friend take the photos. Whatever..., I'm takin' credit for it.

These are shots taken on one Halloween night down on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Halloween in New Orleans is decidedly different than any other city I know of.

Taken while on the Star Ferry leaving the island of Hong Kong for the Chinese mainland. If you look closely, you will be able to see the lights on the buildings change shape and location as we were farther from the shore.

Whether or not I believe in "God," I have now captured angels in action. Weird as it might be, the angels captured by my Canon 5D-III are skydiving. One is a bit off course as it seems to be heading directly for some power lines. Even angels have a bad day!
